Description

Statutory standards prescribe the verification of carbon black content of polyolefin plastics. The test method isbased on pyrolitic decomposition of the material in an inert gas flow (nitrogen). This means that the remaining quantity is burned once again under forced ventilation at the same temperature and the carbon black content determined by means of weight difference.
